Just “Googled” Roger Helbig and it’s helpful to know his background, his job, and therefore, how his opinion is formed, something he didn’t volunteer in his tirade.

I went to the site and page referenced by Mr. Helbig and fail to see how it supports his words or opposes Sr. Bertell’s. At any rate, he might be more believable if he gave relevant references and information instead of attacking the character of someone he disagrees with.

Rosalie Bertell knows nothing about depleted uranium. Her “poison dust” theory starts with her failure to even understand that the 30mm kinetic energy penetrator round fired by the A-10 aircraft is completely shrouded in aluminum. You can see a photo of such a round, fired seven years before the photo was taken during a comprehensive UN field and laboratory study, on page 32 of the report of that study at http://postconflict.unep.ch/publications/BiH_DU_report.pdf . Bertell also prattles on about the evils of the University of Alaska HAARP program which is researching radio propagation in the ionosphere. Any Amateur Radio Operator (HAM) can tell you that Bertell is nuts on that issue. She is aged but refuses to leave the activist stage. She craves and loves the limelight. She is hardly someone who deserves a mention in a Who’s Who; she may deserve a mention in “Who Was Who”.
