The Three Ingredient Vegan Junk Food You’ve Probably Been Eating for Years
March 12, 2008 · Print This Article

Most of the food your average American buys and eats off the shelf of the local grocery store is full of processed fillers and artificial colors and flavors. Check out the ingredients list of anything in the Chips and Soda aisle and you’ll be spun by the 50+ things listed there. Who doesn’t like a bit of Disodium Inosinate and Red #40 with their Whole Corn and Buttermilk Solids?
Lucky for us green junk food lovers there is a vegan, three ingredient choice in the Chip aisle- Fritos.
Fritos are made with Whole Corn, Corn Oil, and Salt. Three ingredients- two from corn and one from the sea (or ground, depending on where you get your salt from).
Pure awesome.
