The Solar Briefcase Makes You Look So Much Cooler When Searching For Lost Cities

I’m always jealous of exploration teams as depicted in movies. They always have the coolest equipment — touchscreen phones with radar, mini-satellite dishes, and other things I’m not even sure exist. Thankfully, the Sola Unagi Solar Charger briefcase is a reality — and will juice whatever you’ve got in the field with you — while also exponentially increasing your coolness factor by several points. From the article,
The solar Unagi is no ordinary solar charger. This 10kg power house of a solar carry-on can store enough juice in its internal battery packs to run a laptop for up to 6 hours, a small fridge for 4 hours and charge up 20 mobile phones at a time. It’s a Fuji Technologies design and at just $1360.00, looks like it’s a tech box whose time has come. While more people across the planet are turning towards solar energy, the machine offers everyone an opportunity to bring the renewable energy home.
Now, when dinosaurs are charging and you’re frantically attempting to call for helicopter support on a dying cell phone, you can whip this briefcase out and save yourself. Well, probably not — dinosaurs don’t care how cool you look — but it’s what you think as you’re being eaten that matters most. Believe in your dreams.

I’ve got a two-pane panel about that size. No internal battery pack, but it puts out up to 16 volts at about an amp. Oh, and it was $80. Now… I get a few sealed 12v batteries and an internal inverter… I’m only up to like $500 tops.
$1360? Something’s not right.
