I have a few (postage paid) mailers at home to recycle cell phones and batteries. We also have a local electronic recycling center in my area. I think carrying around all your trash throughout the day is a great idea!

What an interesting idea for a television show. I read an article in a popular magazine once about a woman who had to carry all of her trash with her throughout the day in order to see how much she wasted. Every time she wanted to throw away something, she would have to put it in a sack attached to her belt. I remember that she was quite surprised at the outcome, and altered her lifestyle afterward.
