You could also an old fashioned safety razor. The handle is likely to be ready recyclable aluminium (and easy to make form recycled material), the replaceable parts use a minimal amount of material and all recyclable, and you will get a *better* and *cheaper* shave than any of fancy 3 bladed nonsense that forces you into buying expensive, and chock full of plastic, replacement heads.

It seems to me the problem of throw-a-way razor handles has already been tackled. Gillette sent me a Mach 3 on my 18th birthday (that was all kinds of creepy) and 8 years later I'm still using the same handle. I just have to buy Gillette's crazy expensive replacement blades. Now granted the handle they sent me is definitely not recycled, but I haven't needed to replace it either. Now it someone would come up with recycled blade cartridges that work with my existing handle that might be something.
