Lightbulbs to Leadership: Saving the Planet Can Save the Economy

Listen up to Professor Ivan. A Greenjob as he teaches us about saving the planet and the economy. This final video from the Sierra Club’s “Lightbulbs to Leadership” campaign tells it like it is: if we require that 20% of America’s electricity come from renewable sources by 2020, we’ll create 820,000 new job.

But wait, there’s more. You can help create demand for clean energy solutions and green jobs by joining Sierra Club for a night of action on July 17 at their Lightbulbs to Leadership House Parties. Party-goers will listen to a live national conference call about green job development from some real experts: Green For All President Van Jones, Washington State Gov. Christine Gregoire, and Sierra Club Executive Director Carl Pope. That’s a pretty sweet line-up.
