I also heard that Thom Yorke has some sort of "being in a car phobia" and insist on alternate ways to travel.. not sure if this is some sort of urban legend. And I believe that partially due to the RIAA, major labels are on their way out, or will at least see fundamental changes in the way they operate. I am friends with a few career musicians who have been signed/tried to get signed and gave up on the whole idea, and are now just self-producing. I think the trend will catch on for many smaller artists, but I guess there will always be an appetite among certain parts of the population for those huge mega-artists with multi million dollar tours and all. The RIAA annoys me almost as much as carbon emissions... I'll have to give them another listen... I like these guys.
