New ‘Green Air Radio’ Offers ‘Renewable Source for Sustainable Information’

When you’re turning the dial on your radio looking for something to listen to, chances are you’ll sift through a whole lot of politics, sports talk, mindless shock jock b.s. and a whole lot of bad music but won’t find any discussion of green issues. That’s all changing now with the help of Green Air Radio, which produces 1 minute long broadcast features on green news and issues called the Green Air Minute.

The host of Green Air Radio, Rich Awn, is known for being a passionate environmentalist and he brings his love for all things green to this project, produced in conjunction with CBS Radio News. Green Air Radio debuted on Earth Day and now broadcasts to over 450 CBS affiliates including KCBS San Francisco, KIRO Seattle, WBBM Chicago and KRLD Dallas.
