A lot of people believe they simply have the right to do whatever they please on the roads. If they pay taxes for them, and have invested in a high performance vehicle, by god they want to put it to some use. It's an understandable argument, and it's going to be tough to persuade people against that. I think maybe more than anything we need some collective cohesion and community on the roads. Where there are simply more benefits to driving a little slower (will that increase traffic) if it saves the planet. It’s a tricky idea.
