Great Green Job of the Week: Marketing Manager for Go Green Expo

NYC’s elite event production company is looking for the right Marketing Manager to assist in the marketing and production of the most prestigious GREEN events in the nation, Go Green Expo!

We have a rewarding position as a Marketing Manager for a growing and fast-paced team. This is a long-term position and is available immediately. Most of our team has worked here for upwards of 6 years, testament to the fun culture and earning opportunity! Excellent communications skills, computer literacy, college degree and a progressive, open, always-positive attitude are a must to be considered for our unique entrepreneurial environment!

1 to 2 years experience preferred. Salary, benefits & 401K plan come with our energetic, success-driven atmosphere. Located in the Manhattan, close to Penn Station, Grand Central, PATH trains as well as several subway lines. Overnight travel 2-3 work days/month required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Assist the Director, Events & Marketing with daily activities
* Maintain and grow list of press contacts & outreach
* Identify & cultivate relationships with industry relevant associations to work in conjunction with our events
* Identify & cultivate relationships with industry relevant publications and media outlets to work in conjunction with our events
* Prepare event materials
* Receive and field questions from clients and the media
* Handle client correspondence

SOFTWARE AND APPLICATIONS

* Macintosh Computers
* Microsoft Word
* Microsoft Excel
* Microsoft Entourage
* FileMaker (preferred)
* Adobe InDesign (preferred)
* Photoshop (preferred)
* HTML /Dreamweaver (preferred)
