Americans are going to have to think way outside the box. I am fortunate, I have a well, got a 7 acre lake full of fish and have a garden site over an acre. Deer roam through our place all the time and I can hunt quail and turkey. Got wood burning stoves and access to wood if needed for heat and cooking. I know how to make a garden and can get horse manure from neighbors for fertilizer. Looks like America is headed back to the country and I often think of the song: "A Country Boy Can Survive." Time will tell what's gonna happen to us all, but I can survive. Most of all I have a wonderful wife and family. Every one needs to read the "Urban Homestead" an answer to possible future events.
