Who We Are

EarthFirst.com is a fun, irreverant green blog featuring the latest environmental news, exclusive features, original cartoons and videos. Don’t confuse us with EarthFirst!, the radical enviornmental group known for acts of protest and civil disobedience – we’re not associated with them at all. We’re passionate about the environment and dedicated to cutting through the eco-fluff to get to the heart of the new green movement. We think there are a lot of greenwashers and opportunists out there who could care less about actively doing some good in the world, and we’re all over them out here on our blog and in our soon-to-be-released video shows. We think green should be fun and cool, and are in love with the power of sarcasm. Greenwashers and jerkasses of the world: beware. We’re watching.

What We Cover

We’re interested in the usual eco-spread of the Environment (der…), Global Warming, Energy, Green Building, Pollution, Renewable Energy, and Water, but we also like to throw in a good mix of Bizarre, Jerkasses, Sexy People, We have plans to expand our coverage of college green happenings, people, and whatnot that should begin to come to fruition very soon. Our editorial voice is driven by a collection of voices and delivered by our superstar lead writer Stephanie Rogers and an assorted cast of bloggers.
